The Greatest Love Language
Out of all five languages compounded by Dr Garry Chapman, one stands to be the greatest. It's one of the languages that go beyond the walls of a romantic relationship. Do you always wonder why our fathers do most of the work, yet our mothers take credit? Our mothers know how this language works more effectively than every other language, so they use it well.
Which love language have I been stressing? It's the Act of Service. It's the language I think everyone should learn. Generally, serving others is a way of beautifying humanity. One of the reasons Nigeria is in a state of disorder is because the leaders aren't willing to serve the citizens. Everyone likes to be assisted when engaging in tedious activities. Everyone likes to be served.
Our mothers know how far the act of service can go in a child's heart. They will go to the market, buy things for the children. That way, they are serving the children. When the father intends to buy some things for the children, he seldom has enough time to do so. Hence, he gives the money to get those things for the children. Some mothers are nice to tell their children who bought those things for them. Even so, the children would always value the service of the mother over their father's money. Truly, without the money, the stuff wouldn't be purchased, but an act of service works so effectively in the minds of children that it makes them forget the significant role of the money.
What do you think??
