This is 21st century don't be left out!!
Today my colleague at work told me about a conversation he had with the Proprietress in a car and I couldn't stop laughing. He told me how her first son who should probably be twelve years old was so engrossed in his phone that he couldn't hear his mom was talking to him.
She was very upset and she grounded the boy from using the phone for some days. He interfered and pleaded on behalf of the boy. He told her not to worry too much 'cause it's a digital world.
He told her the boy could be a Millionaire over night if he uses the phone in the right way. She was alarmed. In her voice, "So you wan dey teach my Pikin yahoo abeg ooo".
He told her there are many job opportunities online. He mentioned, blogging, cryptocurrency, affiliate marketing to mention but a few. She was still not convinced, she said all these jobs he mentioned are for lazy youths in her voice "How person go sit for hin bedroom dey collect money when you suppose go out go hustle". Her primitive mentality is just too bad.
My colleague seeing that she wouldn't bug told her I'm into cryptocurrency and it's capable of making me a millionaire. Alarmed. In her voice, "So you mean say Samuel self too dey do yahoo". "No" he said and he explained the deal to her.
